Tip No.2: Overriding the Automatic Module Widths

Hello!

Here’s another quick tutorial for our Joomla template builder “Blank Joomla Template“.

Right then, as you should know by now, the template is made up of “Rows” that contain 4 modules each and each module automatically re-sizes to an equal width for however many modules you publish on that row – so if you publish 3 modules on a row they re-size to a third of the template width each (minus whatever gutter you have set on the template parameters).  This means you’re always left with equal sized modules  - nice and tidy, but!  - what if we wanted a row that had 2 modules and we wanted once to be 33% of the template width and the other 66%…?

This session shows how we can do this with a couple of click a cut and paste or 2 and a refresh!

Hope you enjoy, please feedback and of course Happy Templating!
